“Integrating Human Rights of Women
into the Human Rights Council”

The workshop will explore:

  1. The meaning of "integration of human rights of women" for activists across the world (a historical and practical understanding)
  2. The use of normative standards developed by CEDAW as a framework for integration
  3. Best practices from work of Special Rapporteurs and other mechanisms that can be used as examples of integration
  4. Linkages between various institutions that are evolving through the UN reform process to take forward human rights of women
